They're designed for use with R/C servos which can draw peak currents over 1A each with average currents while moving on the order of 1/4A. What would you like to do with it?

I'm giving it to a friend and he wants to make sure he doesnt overload/burnout the power traces. so I need to know the max amperage it can handle..

The servo controller is designed to handle up to 16 servos. At an average current drain of 250mA moving under load, that would be a total of 4A. Since the controller is controlled serially, only one servo at a time would normally start from a nearly stalled state with a peak current load of around 1A, so figure 5-6A peak load.

Use a fuse, maybe an 8-10A automotive fuse, in the servo power supply leads.
