Sensirion & MLX90614 - Data Pin Sharing?

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to reduce the number of pins consumed by my project, and after looking at the protocols for the Parallax MLX90614 and Sensirion Temp/Humidity sensor, it looked to me like they could easily share a data pin, and sure enough, it would seem at first glance like they can. My programs seem to return data just fine from both with a shared data pin, but I thought I'd check and see if there are any potential that I might not be aware of. Are there any reasons why this could cause problems down the road? I do need this application to be solidly reliable!

I havent tried it but the main issue I had with mlx90614 is the smbus timeout, I believe that if the bus timing when you access the sensirion doesn't meet smbus time the mlx90614 with shutdown anyway.
