I looked up the experiment (www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/books/sw/Web-SW-v2.1.pdf Pg. 197 EXPERIMENT #34: SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH A PC. Now it has been a whole bunch of years since I used the stamp, but I did do some serial communications with with it. Perhaps I can help out (hopefully it isn't too late). Let me (us) know more about what you need and I (we) will see what we can do to help.
