Does any one know where i can buy a water temperature sensors for a bs2·at 5' of water ? and if they have any sample code ? thank you for your help new to microcontrollers....
I have never done it but you may be able to encapsulate a sensor of your choice in a small length of plastic tubing and seal the whole thing in silicone.
You could spend a lot or a little, depending on your temp range. Simple waterproofing will work at 5 feet of water. You could use a simple thermistor with 2 wires, or an A/D temp IC with 3 wires. Encapsulate your sensor & wires with a thin layer of epoxy for waterproofness. The thin layer keeps your thermal lag time to a minimum.
FYI, you would read the analog thermistor like a variable resistor using RCtime. You would need to make your own calibration lookup table or do a curve fitting to calibrate. Thermistors are cheap and easily found at many electronic stores. Radio Shack·used to carry·the 271-110, but they are discontinued now. Hosfelt has them for 50 cents at http://www.hosfelt.com/contents/en-us/d286.html#p2252
"Bitspower G 1/4in. Temperature Sensor Stop Fitting Product Description & Info
Keep close tabs on the temperature of your liquid cooling system with this simple thermal sensor from Bitspower. The sensor itself is embedded in a special enclosed plug with G 1/4" Threads, and an o-ring to ensure a leak-free seal.
Most Fan Controllers and some motherboards have positions for temperature monitoring on their circuit boards, and can integrate with this sensor. The connection type is a standard 2-pin black connector. Temperature range is -30 C to 105 C, and wire length is 90 cm.
Availability: Usually ships the same business day.
www.Omega.com, has everything you could ever need for most any kind of sensor. Parallax has a nice little mini printed circuit board using the DS1621, integrated as a thermocouple sensor and as well as good sample code complete with look up tables.

See the Parallax digital sensor at· http://www.parallax.com/Store/Sensors/TemperatureHumidity/tabid/174/CategoryID/49/List/0/SortField/0/Level/a/ProductID/84/Default.aspx
This is precalibrated, and a very good value at $6. You would read this using serial commands.
