Education Kit vs. Starter kit
I'm interested in learning more about the propeller chip. I notice there is a education kit and a stater kit, and they both seem to be great resources.
There is a version of the starter kit that comes with two books, but the education kit comes with more extras. I'm at a loss as to which one I should order. I have experience programming the Basic Stamp I and II, and programming assembly on the SX chips.
Does anyone have any sort of opinion or advice concerning which would be a better option? Thank you in advance.

I would suggest the PEK and Labs 40 pin dip version. Good place to start with your experience level, excellent documentation with labs and you can swap the chip if you need to.
The demo board is on sale today so you can get it too for a good second platform that is prewired for many features. Need to go ahead and get the SPIN manual and the Official Guide while you are at it.
Regards,
Steve
