GUI Bot v.1.3 and v1.3.1 communication problem

Hello everyone,

I'm new user for this forum and I'm staring in the robotics staff...
so I like to know if you have an idea regarding the GUI Bot communication problem with the Boe Toe robot, when I use the Bascit Stamp Editor v2.5 Can communicate with the robot but when try with the GUI the communication is not posible, the system not find the robot...I· have installed all USB drivers...but still havin the problem...
Plese give me a hand.

    Are you using GUI Bot v1.3.1 (r2) ?· Here is a link for the latest version:

    yes I´m using the GUI Bot v.1.3.1 and the result is the same, not find the robot...by the way I'm using a DELL PRECISION M4400...
    Hope we can solve it, because I like to share it with my little son (7 years old).

    · I am having the same problem. I am using a USB and I receive the error message "NO robot· found". Does anybody know a solution?

    I just downloaded the software and pulled my boe out of the closet, hooked up my FTDI USB cable and it ran fine without changing anything. What cables are you using? Fresh batteries? switch set on 2?

    · I am using the USB cable that came with my boe-bot. I have tried it on both switch 1 and 2. The batteries are fine and the regular stamp editor works fine. Maybe I will try and reload the program.

    Make sure you had loaded the drivers for the cable BEFORE you installed it for the first time. If not you need to go into the Device Manager and remove all instances of usb to serial devices you are not using and reinstall the driver software before connecting. There may be somrthing wrong with your computer or settings that is preventing this from working.
