Im looking at this product here and was wondering how do you connect the suggested 12v SLA battery to the prop motor board?
here is the battery:

Any help greatly appreciated.

Comments
2 - Wires from battery to a pair of terminal strips, then to the motor board and other boards.
3 - Power distribution board connected to battery
4 - Power distribution wiring harness
Please forgive the ignorance it is my first attempt at a fairly advanced robot.
Thanks for you post it really helps alot.
Also if this helps at all here is the microcontroller I am using.

Keep in mind that I am not familiar with this kit, but in looking at the schematics of the controller and control board I would connect it with a simple 3 way wire harness from the battery to the 2 motor controllers and robot control board. The robot control board would have a diode and capacitor in the line, and the other two would be direct connections.
so it would be something like:
The battery connected to each motor, then each motor connected to each controller, and each controller connected to the robot control board.
The battery connected to a diode/capacitor circuit(series/parallel?) then connected to the robot control board.
After that using the diode capacitor circuit I could connect all my sensors to get power from that circuit.
After reading the suggested pdf pages I believe I will need to connect the 12v battery into something so that it can connect to the battery pack socket on page 5 of the pdf.
is this correct?
Thank you for your replies, they have been very very helpful.
I really want to thank you both for these replies you have no idea how helpful they have been. I woke up at 4 in the morning with this question/thread in my mind that I had somehow overlooked.

[quote]
18” diameter round robot base provides zero-turn radius
A zero-turn radius? So the robot can't turn at all?
At best, the hyphen is misplaced.
potentially ambiguous. Certainly the "zero" should not be hyphenated to the "turn".
