This is by and large a friendly, outgoing group, but sometimes folks hesitate to respond if they are scratching their heads.

I replied to the original thread: your Spin code seems to have disappeared, so we can't see
it to comment.
Just re-post, then be assured that we'll help!

While writing a "book" would not be appropriate, a more complete statement of what you're trying to learn would be helpful. In many cases a "generic" question is less likely to get answered than something more specific. If code is attached, there should still be at least a description of the problem in the post. People want to know what things are about before they open attachemnts.
The Avatar may also have prompted links or attachements to be removed if the moderators thought you might be spamming. Don't know, just trying to offer ideas on why the code dissapeared.

It gets old answering the same questions over and over again.
Just saying.

Nyamekye,
Still, the term "infidel" has certain negative connotations since the turn of the century.
From what I've seen the more effort one puts into a question, the more satisfying the answers.

May the road rise to meet you; may the sun shine on your back.
May you create something useful, even if it's just a hack.
1. The problem is a simple one and one of the users here can answer it in just a few minutes
2. The problem is interesting enough to 'waste' more time.
In all other cases it really depends on the mood of the readers. I have to admit that I also had a look in at least one of your problems, but I was not attracted enough to spend some time with it.
I also have some objects (currently 2) in the object exchange without feedback or some threads with little replies ... but that's life. I still believe that it's a friendly forum and not getting the wanted replies is very rare.
Hope you're not discouraged and keep in mind: Either break you problem up into small problems or make it interesting enough ;o)
yesterday I had a look into your code and I was astonished a little bit myself, that there were no answers yet. Then I read:
"please give me comments I havent had time to upload this to my prop yet and won't till next thursday"
So you were asking others to debug your code, without trying this yourself. (Of course I understand the reason and wish you the best for the future!) The code was not complete. And there was no description of what you exactly want to do with it.
Perhaps you can ask yourself: What information would I need to give a good answer to a similar question in yust a few minutes?
I remember something like
...
if a:=1
· ....
I thought, that I could write, that this ( := )will·not work. But then I thought, that this was perhaps·intended for debugging...
Just give us a few more informations!
Good luck,
Christof
You got a lot of responses with sample code in you first thread about the DAC on the Prop:
http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=906784
But then you just made a new thread and asked the same again with much fewer informations and without incorporate
the suggestions from the DAC thread.
Why should the poeple that have you answered before write the same again in the new thread?
I have the feeling that what you want to do is a bit over your skills, and guide you to a usable result will be a hard long way.
