Xbee adapter led's

The pdf's for the the xbee usb and 5v/3.3 adapters list the led's as indicating differing functions. Is this correct and why not keep them consistent? Sorry if this has been adressed in the forum already, I couldn't find any reference to it with search.
32400 - usb adapter:
LED FUNCTIONS:
Yellow – Power
Green – ON (Not in standby mode)
Blue – RSSI
Red – Associate
32401 - 5v/3.3v adapter:
LED Color Function
Blue - Power`
Yellow - Module ON (not in standby)
Red - RSSI
Green - Associate
