I'm trying to design my first pcb. I want to drive a 5V serial LCD with a 3 pin header·@ pin 0. I will put a 4x4 keypad @ pins 8 - 15 with pulldown resistors on pins 12 - 15. I will power it with 4 AA cells and assemble everything into an enclosure that resembles a large calculator. I'm trying to modify an existing PCB because I don't have the experience to start from scratch.·There are mistakes in the layout that I can't see yet but my biggest problem is that I can't figure out how to place a 5V 3 pin header on a 2 layer pcb. I·included the·source file that I·copied my version from. ·(How do I convert the attachments to JPG?)

Lardom:· Since you took the trouble to PM me, I'll try to answer your queston...

But, I'm not really sure if I understand the question...

Anyway, here's the part I usually use to place a 0.1" spacing header:

The first thing I need to learn is how to create a png or a jpg image. My biggest problem is how to place a 3 pin header for a 5V serial LCD using a 2 layer pcb. I saw your website and I thought you might have already built a mini board that I could use. Thanks for replying.
