PIR Sensor, Help

Good Day Parallax People!

Im New Here in the forum and New in using Microprocessor/Controller.

I Just Purchased the BS2 Kit and the PIR Sensor.

and im having a problem already, i know the source code is not the problem, bcuz i just copied and pasted it. my output is always high even i set the jumper on low, and the led is doen't seem to light/turn on·when im getting high on output. maybe i just messed up the connections or whatever.
here's the connection
out·on p15
+ on +5(vdd)
-·on -(vss)
led on p0

    PIR's can be really fussy. Try putting the sensor in a box and see if your output goes low. If it doesn't you may have a bad sensor, if it does you will need to sheild the PIR with a tube, to minimize its sensing area.

    Regarding your connections, is that the labels on the PIR? You should have +5 on +, Vss on -, out to the pin your using

    yes ive tried it inside a box, and my output is still high, but i tried just moving the BS2 up and down, and im getting 0, 1 on my debug. but the LED indicating its high or a low is not functioning.

    Question: what pin should i connect the LED, anode on p0 and cathode on ground?
