Today USPS delivered my 100320 'free pcbs'. Wow!, three silk-screened front and back. Very, very nice gift.

Is there a drawing that indicates ALL of the connected pads? (I note there are two columns of pads marked Vdd/Vss which are reversed between the left and right halves of the board. And the 2-pin header zones — connect or not the center row of 3 x 6 pads to adjacent groups. Maybe other details?)

Now, to search for those extended height headers/sockets to connect to my Prop Proto Boards. I've seen them somewhere in the past.

Thank you Parallax, Ken and all those involved with providing this bounty. yeah.gif

Very, Very, Nice Boards.. Thank You much.

Dropped $13.50 on Pin Headers and Sockets,, and a brand new Serial Cable...Sigh...How many of those did I
Throw out or give away over the years?? lol..

I want to Populate one of the Boards like the Robot Control Board, that looks like it would be Usefull,
The other two will be dedicated to My Low Earth Orbiter Project...

Anyway, look forward to seeing some really cool projects.

    Thanks again.

What great boards! Thanks Ken, for your generosity, and thanks Mike for volunteering so quickly to collect the names.

The first board is being used in a prototype fuel injection system for small engines - a chipper/shredder motor being the first victim.

It's no big deal, but you're welcome.

I'll have a batch (400 units) or so of Penguins next. They program just fine, but you'll need to make a jumper/resistor mod to make the external reset work without a serial cable. These are being kitted right now. I guess most companies wouldn't let a non-saleable product out to the customer base, but there's no good reason to send this hardware to the recycler when it only needs a minor repair.

Maybe you could put a Prop on these birds.

    What's a (non-fowl) Penguin? A search on Parallax's site didn't show anything.

Just wanted to add my thanks to Mike and Ken for the boards, just got back from a weekend at a vintage sportscar race so I'm a little late, thanks again. One of the boards will be used on my Toddler which I just converted over to a Protoboard.

I just received a set of these Protoboards too. Thanks to both Ken and Mike for these. If all goes well at least one of them will be on a project I'm bringing to UPENE.

I'll take a penguins; I'm sure my 8 year old & 15 year old would get a kick out of it!

Its nice to see you offer things up! At our astronomy club a telescope dealer was telling us how he was told to destroy old, yet usable, telescopes rather then liquidate or even recycle them.
