I'm testing my Thermocouple kit with my BS2P40. When I raise the thermocouple temp the demo SW decreases in value, when I lower the temp the debug screen indicates the temp is rising. Is there a known solution to this problem?

    You could attach your code so we could tell you how to fix it.

    I thought I had responded to your reply Stephen, but I can't find it here, must have gotten lost. The demo SW and Taables are from Parallax.com. I have subsequently tried the advanced demo SW and tables. These seem to work satisfactorily

    Sounds like the probe wire is connected backwards.

    After more thorough testing it was discovered that the advanced demo SW did di not perform any differently.

    if the temperature readings are inverted, then as Chris stated above, the thermocouple leads are attatched backwards, flip them and see what happens.
