Composite one pin tv - How to setup?

I have bought a Piranha Extreme PSOne lcd.

I don't think it can be hacked into vga since there is only a yellow ( composite) whire to the mainboard.

Anyway... I'd like to know how to tell in the spin file that i want to use pin 20?

I can't find it anywhere. Any tips on vga hack are welcome!

Botdocter: There are two 1-pin TV (composite) objects in the Object Exchange. Eric did the first and I have expanded it's functions and size. My 1pin is listed in the Tools section under Debug_1pinTV. It is easy to change the rows and columns and the pin.

In any event, the 1-pin display driver is for TV, not VGA. For VGA, you'd need a separate H-Sync and V-Sync, so the minimum number of pins would be 3. With some external hardware, you could combine the H-Sync and V-Sync onto one I/O pin for a minimum of two. The driver would have to be significantly changed.

KPR: It's VGA so a vga object should work. It is not composite.

VGA normally uses 8 pins and they have to be a group, so you cannot use P20-27. So they have to be P0-7, P8-15 or·P16-23.

The pdf is from the original sony lcd. I have the piranha extreme variant.
Wich does Not have vga... Or at least not connected to the mainboard. There are some solderplates though wich say r/g/b. But like i said, not connected

That worked perfectly!

so how can i use this to get the graphical demo working?

i want to show a face( picture,pixels or something else) and a scrolling map that now outputs "." and "#" to the terminal. It works fine but i'd like to have a nice coloured version of the map. without the characters, and instead nice filled blocks/sectors? scrolling image that relates to my coordinates?

OK, so it is working with 1pin composite. This is limited to B&W (blackand white)

To get color, you will need 3 prop pins and 3 resistors. See the Prop ProtoBoard schematic for this (uses P12, 13 & 14). P15 is used for audio so you do not need it. You can reprogram to use P20,21,22.

You will find TV demos in the OBEX. There are text only and color blocks/tiles. I suggest you try them for a start.

It seems like the lcd gets 3 signals. But they're not alligned.

So i have a big dark bar on the bottom and above 2.5 inputs with an even amount of space between them ( virtically)

help please!! I'm so close!!
