Hello everyone, I did not see an official place for introductions so I figured I will just post one here. I have one boe bot that I have owned for a while and just taken back up, grabbed up several sensors for him and will be experimenting with that. I also have a new shiny red Penguin robot that I just received, have not even assembled him yet. Have been reading the post and forums for several days, and I am very impressed whit the help and information given by the members. I am a Ham Radio operator so I am very versed in RF implementation and have build my own antennas, transceivers, and other equipment. Looking forward to exploring the world of robotics and electronics with you guys.

Cheers,

Patman

And we with you!· Welcome aboard!

Good choice on robots.· I started with a BOE-BOT and still work with it to this day.· Hard to beat a great design.

Welcome to the forum, Patman! You will find the Boe-Bot to be a virtually universal robotics platform. I've had mine for years and still use it for experimenting with different sensors and such.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I have just finished assembling about 90% of the penguin, the boe bot is waiting on some hardware for the mattracks to mount up, I have been finish with him for a while yet. Having a great deal of fun with these projects and reading about what other people have done.
