What is the best way to mount an LCD in a chassis box so that it looks professionally done? Are there windows for the LCD you can but to fit over the cutout?

EDIT: Here are some threads where I have discussed this before. I am also reminded of the fact that you can apply the stick on clear laminate over the top of the laser label too.

It also depends on exactly how "professional" you mean...
Do you intend it for consumer, industrial, or lab use?
I get the feeling that when people say "LCD" in this forum, they are talking about the 2-line serial black&white LCDs...
For those, as Leon points out, you can probably find bezels to fit somewhere...
For larger LCDs, Chuck at Mountian King Tech.·makes custom plastic bezels...

I'm sure if you ask Chuck for the 4.3" "Faceplate" and one "Spacer" for "Bill Steele's Prototype" you could make a very nice bezel that would cover the rough opening quite nicely.
I'm on the road right now, but I'll post a picture Friday when I get home of what he built for me.
