BASIC Stamp 2 OEM Module (Kit Form)

This kit includes all the pieces required to program the chip (BASIC Stamp 2 Interpreter Chip (DIP)?)

But all those pieces are not required when building a stand alone system right? If you used the kit above, and took the Interpreter Chip, EEPROM and resonator onto another blank development board, would your program work as expected?

Am I missing any pieces, or one of the 3 not required?
