What size hole should I drill to accommodate an M3 screw? IS it a 1/8th inch?

M3 is in metric units, not inches.

Hi,
I specify 3.2mm as the clearance hole for M3, which is good for most assemblies: it makes for sensible
alignment of the parts without being too fiddly nor too sloppy.
