CMUcam/EasyBT

Hi there,

We are currently programming a Robot wich needs the CMUcam AND the EasyBleutooth module. We can't get both working.
I have a good bleutooth dongle for my desktop, the green light flashes when I try to send something with hyperterminal, but I dont get any bytes back.
With the CMUcam, the power led is on, and all the other leds are flashing like hell.
Also, we spend several hours searching for any sort of documentation, and all I found was documentation for basic stamp of this topic, wich didn't help me either.
Has anyone ever made a program with CMUcam / EasyBT with a javelin stamp? If so, please help us.

Hi Hans,

which pins are you using for each component? Is it possible that one pin is use for the 2? So when only one is connected, it's working fine, but when the 2 are, there is a conflict?

they dont work seperately either. so that isnt the problem.

I just find it hard to find any documentation with examples. and noone at our school had ever done this before.

Hi Hans,

Do you have a link to the 2 products you are trying to use? So none of them are working for you? I saw other messages in the forum for the BT modul. Have you read them?

Ok. So let's start with the first one and we will try to make the Cam works after. I never saw anyone asking about the cam. so might be more difficult to troubleshot.

Regarding the BT module, have you take a look here: http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=8&m=438441
Also, can you share the related code? How is it connected with the Javelin, etc.?

Regarding the Cam, I just read the documentation, and seems that it's "simply" talking with a Uart to the controller. How are you trying to interface it?

Let me know, ad I will try to help. But I don't have those modules, so I wll just make suggesetions.
