i'm working on a bipolar stepper motor controller for a high school final. i have an ede1204 for the controller. attached is the ede1204pdf file. i'm using h-bridges as on the schematic for the ede1204, but it decides on how to work when i turn it on. so i broke it down to 1 section and i still can't figure it out. any idea

Returns don't work unless you have gosubs (not gotos)

How do you know it's the circuit that's not working properly? If you "return" from a GOTO, you'll reset the processor and it starts over again and again. Kind of hard to test your circuit with that kind of thing going on.

You should post the attacment in the form of a JPEG or PDF so people can view it. Not all of us have the money to buy Multisim just to view a file. I did not see any free viewers out there.

ok i switched the 2n2222's with tip29b·because the 2n2222 wouldn't give me enough current to rotate a dc motor, but now i barely have enough current to make the motor turn a·millimeter hen stop. any idea y?

Well without valid code and no schematic I'd say it isn't put together correctly or your code is wrong. If you want help you need to do some of the work.

i am working on it. mad.gif

just yesterday during the end of class i got the circuit to run a dc motor but it seems like it has to charge first.

odd but nothing is over heating and it still works.smile.gif
