I'm looking for some new websites to read, what are some of your favorite tech sites? I'll kick it off with my list:
  • Hackedgadgets
  • hackaday
  • makezine
  • Ars Technica
  • Slashdot
  • make magazine

What else? What other tech / programming / development sites do you read?

    Do you mean "ongoing" professional sites that publish new/updated info on a scheduled basis, or just cool sites that could include personal info related to tech/programming/development?

    I don't wanna clutter the thread

    I'll take either! I'm just asking for interesting programming / development sites to read.

    Nick, You've got most of the ones I read in Google Reader, but here's a few more.

    * Electronics-Lab.com
    * Instructables
    * ladyada
    * uC Hobby
    * ITtronics

    Wish Parallax would do a RSS feed with new news and projects. They started, but it dried up.

    HackaDay is good...just don't post anything that uses an Arduino. The remarks posters are much kinder to Basic Stamp and Propeller projects.

    @OBC - And here I was hoping that by using the CMS version of vBulletin I would pass as a project website too. =( I'm hurt! Seriously though, if I could figure out how to get the RSS system working in vBulletin I'd use it. It does support it. Right now my only RSS feed is Savage Circuits TV. And everyone's already covered slashdot and hackaday.

    Is our RSS feed not working for you? We have one on the home page that gets everything that Twitter and Facebook get. Daily Deals, POTW, OOTW, new products, contest reminders, general news, etc.

    In the past I was not interested in automobiles, but these days they can have 24 to 80 computers and 3 local area networks. So now I'm getting interested!

    The following is an automotive engine computer along with all the documentation and source code you could ever want - learn how an automotive computer works!

    This site has some interesting links about automotive computer networking called "CANbus"...

    Hackaday is where I found out about the Propeller, from their post about the YBOX2. Beware, you might see something there that turns your life upside-down.

    www.kurzweilai.net (I just love this Kurzweil guy)
    Hackaday (but of course)
    http://www.adafruit.com/blog (She's my hero)
    Andrew's Physics Blog (He updates with great tech news often)
    I also like to check in at Sparkfun at least once a week or so.
    There are several other sites I visit less frequently.
    There are just so many good tech sites!
    I'm always reading something to do with technology
    as I surf the web daily....it's a wonder I ever get
    anything done. smile.gif

    Other sites I visit (not tech--grrl stuff...you won't like them..you have been warned)
    TMZ.com (Find out if Lindsay Lohan has a warrant out for her arrest yet)
    http://babyrazzi.com/ (cute babies everywhere!)
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/index.html (I love how they find links to buy similar clothes to what the people in the stories are wearing)

    @eod_punk

    Just WoW!
    What a great blog list...now I really won't get anything done smile.gif
