·I am just learning how to use soem PCB software. It will take some time but now using DIP TRACE. The way it draws ICs like the LM 555 timer seems strange to me ( not in order· like the spec. sheets rrawings). Does anyone know of any others that are free and EASY?

It doesn't get much easier than DipTrace for what it has. You have to get used to their slightly strange footprint naming conventions (which means you'll sometimes have to mach up footprint dimensions instead of names) but other than that, it's pretty good. Been using it for a couple years :)

expresspcb gives you free software that's easy to learn and use but you'll have to use their service to get your pcbs made. Maybe that would cramp your style but that's what I've used in the past and I've been very happy with what they've done for me.
