Any suggestions on·a good starter robot?

This is for someone·in JR high who has a grasp of computers, doesn't know electronics but can do basic soldering,·can change a spark plug or tire·and understands VBA.

    Hi AIman,

You simply cant go wrong with the Boe-Bot. ( Item code 28132) from parallax. There is tons of documentation to get you started and plenty of ways to expand and add some really cool features. It should get you going in the right direction. It did me :) .

I started with the Boe-Bot - never regretted it - awesome choice.

But I do believe the Boe-Bot should come with a disclaimer "Warning: Use of this kit may cause an addictive desire to experience many, many hours of robotic enjoyment"
