Going wireless

My project has 8 servos plus some switches.
To go wireless it looks like I need 2 B-Stamp platforms and two 433 MHz RF Transceiver modules. Is that correct?
Are there other alternatives from Parallax?

Distance? XBee might be an option.

150 feet but will have to travel through some walls.

The higher power (PRO) xBee modules should work. The Parallax transceivers might work, but they're good for at most 250 feet in open air. Whether that's equivalent to 150 feet with walls in the way or not is anybody's guess and depends partly on what's in the walls. Another advantage of the xBees is that they do their own error checking and retransmission. You have to include that in your program if you use the Parallax Transceivers.

Yes, and over all the xBee system looks cheaper too.

Which Stamp board should i get to make a system?
    (Have a Homework board now)

    Would that BS1USB board work?
