My own Basic Stamp 2PE ( Problem with the 8 Mhz resonator)

Hi,

I want to buy the Basic Stamp 2Pe interpreter
chip.

But it is a little difficult to weld small parts like the resonator , for this reason
I want to buy a bigger resonator instead the resonator
that Parallax sells.

Do you know where can I buy a bigger 8 mhz resonator for
Basic Stamp 2Pe ?

Thanks, Mark

Digikey and Mouser sell them. I believe it would be called an 8MHz "oscillator"

Actually "ceramic resonator" is the correct term. Be sure to consult the SX48/52 datasheet for the load caps and series and feedback resistors appropriate for the resonator you end up with.
