Try the attached test version. I have changed to a newer release of PureBasic with integrated SerialPort support to compile PASD.
I had also this PinViewer issues, but this version seems to be more stable on my PC.
A request for retaining preferences. I usually always have to click and position the Cog RAM, Main Ram and Pin viewer windows. Would it be a chore to retain a user's preferences?
Thanks if so. Still my debugger for the PASM stuff.
This feature is included since version 0.4 or so.
Position the Windows as you want and then choose "save Settings" in the File menu.
At next start of PASD the Windows should appear in the saved configuration.
I didn't want to start a new thread. But, l am looking for a guide of how to on if there is a way to embed the required code for PASD into a PropBASIC program. I'm using BST for the IDE if that helps any.
I found one link but it was broken, and the documents don't really say how to integrate the two. Do I need to paste something into the complied spin pasm files?
Is there a way to insert it in the pbas files so I don't have to copy it into the spins files every time I rebuild them?
OK, glad I read this thread. Maybe it is why PASD won't run.
I'd not used PASD for a while and when I heard of an update I downloaded it and just a few days ago tried to use it and it wouldn't run. Actually wouldn't load.
So where do I find the latest NEW 0.7 version? I downloaded from your site and it is dated 2010.

I never use the pin viewer, so don't know.

You will be very pleased to know that this version appears to fix the USB serial port problem. Yay!
I will now be able to go ahead and do some real debugging.
Once again, thank you very much for a great development tool. I think you're a hero!
Cheers
Stephen
