Quick & Easy question!

Hey guys, if you saw my previous post, I had connection issues with my Basic Stamp 2. Today I went to my electronics teacher and he provided me with a BS2sx, and all is well, so thanks for all your support here in the forums!
Now I have a quick question... my electronics teacher downloaded some code to my chip allowing me to move my robot forward, backwards, left, and right with the use of a Playstation 2 controller. Unfortunately, I did not have my flashdrive on me to save a copy of the code, so I was wondering if I can use the editor on my computer to see the code ALREADY on my stamp. Sorry if this is an idiot question, but I'm new to robotics.
