Question about ViewPort

First off: I know that ViewPort is not a Parallax product so I don't expect Parallax to provide support.
That said, my question is this: Has anyone written a book or article somewhere that goes in-depth on ViewPort with real world examples? I guess that I am spoiled with the exceptional writers on the Parallax staff. I have read the ViewPort manual over and over. I am still wanting of more detail on most facets of the program. The DSO is the only part that really makes sense to me. I have watched all of Hanno's video's that lightly touch on the programs functions. Oh and I have asked this question on the ViewPort Forums.
