reed switch question

Hi-

I am successfully using a bs2sx to directly drive the following reed switch: www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062478 to control buttons on a single dvd player. would the same reed switch be able to control 5 of those same buttons on 5 separate dvd players?

rev: If you're using the reed relay to trigger an IR remote control and using 5 identical DVD players that can all see the remote, then they should all work in unison.

Right. This is for a backup system if the IR system fails
