·Hi, I've acquired a 1988 vintage Sharp Thermal Printer / Cassette Interface unit.· The model ·unit is CE-50P.· I can't find any documentation on the pinouts for the interface cable which is built into the unit.· The printer was designed to interface with Sharp organizers and maybe graphic calculators.· I've posted pictures of the unit and a drawing of the·four pin interface cable plug.· I'm thinking of trying to interface this to a BS2 if I can get information about the pinout and communications protocol.· Thank-you.

Thanks sam_sam_sam.· Still no luck finding the 4 pin connector pinouts.· The OZ, ·ZQ, and YO devices use the four-pin interface.· I did find the serial baud configuration which is 9600, 8N1.· I took apart the unit and did not find any labeling on the PC board.· I'll keep trying but I don't have a logic analyzer or·o-scope.· Thanks.

Did you look at the second link

The OZ, ·ZQ, and YO devices use the four-pin interface but they also use the 15 - pin interface· as well· might be worth a try

It look like to me from what·I read that 15 pin header and the four pin header are used on the same pockect computer or device just not all of the pins are used
