Help conecting my Board of education to a tv

How can I connect my board of education to any Lcd/plasma tv? And maybe a PS/2 keyboard?

A Propeller Backpack would work well for this: www.parallax.com/StoreSearchResults/tabid/768/List/0/SortField/4/ProductID/602/Default.aspx?txtSearch=propeller+backpack

This is designed specifically for this use and there are instructions for this in the documentation.

The Backpack can also interface to a PS/2 keyboard, but you'll need to add the interface yourself. This consists of two 100 Ohm resistors, each in series with the data and clock signals from the keyboard and two 10K Ohm resistors as pullups to +5V on the keyboard side of the 100 Ohm resistors, just as done on both the Demo Board and the Protoboard with the Accessory Kit. I've done this using a prototype daughterboard (www.parallax.com/Store/Microcontrollers/BASICStampDevelopmentBoards/tabid/137/CategoryID/12/List/0/SortField/0/Level/a/ProductID/469/Default.aspx).

What brand TV do you have? Does it have a communication connection?

Also remember to check if your TV accept the American NTSC system, your TV is probably a PAL TV, but most new television sets today accepts both.

Depending on models the USB port could be used for pictures or service, but you may want to check around since the TV technology changes weekly.·A couple years back I bought a flat screen with a RS-232 port on the back and with some research I was able to gather information on how to send string code·and do everything the remote was able to do from a VB6 program.·· I have been meaning to create some type of system using a micro-controller such as the Basic Stamp.· If you had the right TV you could surely·materialize your concept.
