hi
its possible to run the propeller ide + the usb-driver
with a netbook:

netbook: acer Aspire ONE, INTEL Atom SCN270B, 2.6GHZ, 1024 mb Ram, with windows7 starter

    It runs just fine on my ASUS with Win 7, an N450 processor, 1 GB RAM. I'd expect it to work on your setup.

    It runs fine on my MSI netbook with Windows XP.. 1gig of ram as well..

    BST runs just fine on my HP mini with Ubuntu netbook remix...

    BST runs fine on my MSI Wind with 1.5 gigs of ram running OSX 10.6.2..
