pwm response
Hi Guys,
I was wondering do any of you guys know how fast I can pump a sine wave out of the prop.· Im building a system that needs a frequency response on the order of 1 khz.· Im hoping to use the pwm and smoothing filters in order to do this. A penny for your thoughts.

yes 1kHz sine wave can be done.
But the methods to do it depend for example from the needed resolution/quality of the sinwave.
I personally would tend to use PropBasic. In my "ProprSound" Project there is a sine generator task hidden, that I used for tests.

I·used it with 1kHz for example. Only a simple RC- filter is used.
You could use a resistor ladder as·DAC too. Then you need not much software.
Good luck,
Christof
I really don't want to switch gears and learn new software, but I think your right.· I have been struggling through the counter docs.· I'll see how it goes.
Thanks,
Greg
