what are the parts used in this?

·I was reading the NV Article vol1-27 water level capacitor

and need to know more about how the capacitor was made
I have never heard of· "IC· carrier tubing"

Does anyone have a parts list and schematic to make one of these devices?

    I think that is the plastic tubing that chips come in.

    Silver,

    It is the (usually) anti-static plastic tube in which integrated circuits are shipped.

    I did a search and came up with this supplier that offered some images:

    I don't believe it's absolutely critical to use it for this project.· It's probably just what the author had laying around.

    The schematic is on page 4 and you don't need the carrier tubing, it's just how he got the foil aligned with the tubing he was using (1/4" irrigation tubing)
