Easier Stingray Battery or Other Access - PART 2
Hey Stingray Owners,
I have posted before about using one of the side sensor mounting panels as a battery door. This requires removing 2 of the button head screws and loosening two for a hinge point. See http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=850036
I found these the other day at Keystone Electronics. They are very high quality Stainless Steel Thumb Screws with 4-40 sizing. The are·.312 inches·long (thread length). I am planning on using 4 - 2 to remove and 2 to loosen for the hinge. I am using nylon washers to protect the black Stingray finish. These could be handy anywhere you want quick access on the Stingray for for mounting Ping))) Stands.
Take a look here http://www.keyelco.com/products/specs/spec125.asp·Other length are shown on the same page.
