PropRTOS + PropBASIC?

I've been thinking about Peter Van der Zee's PropRTOS realtime scheduler kernel and some of its
applications.
It seems to me that it might sit very well inside - or on top of - PropBASIC.
Is this just another foolish question? Or would there be some merit in the idea?

Yes, there is merit in the idea - in my opinion.
I am very happy with PropBasic and its speed. And it makes sense to use this speed for more things, which must be organised. Therefore the sceduler comes into the scene....
(I have in mind to write a 2 or 3 channel microstep step motor driver, together with ramping, sitting in one cog.
It shall be compatibel with Sphinx...)
