CMUcam3, 2 or none?
I'm about to buy a CMUcam3 but a few questions are still unanswered.
Everywhere it says: comes with cmucam2 emulation MINUS the servo controll.
What does this mean? Is it usable out of the box incl. Servo controll? Or just the other way around?
And has anyone been succesfull on using cmucam3 or 2 for that matter on the propeller? Or should i use another camera sensor? And if yes, wich one?

1 Parallax Ping))) ultrasonic sensor
a few motors and a whole lot of chaos!

Nyamekye,
CMUcam2 emulation is in it then you buy it, but
you can download a lot of other programs to it
And write your own.
Its programed i c. open source... start to modefy the CMUcam2 emulation
I use cmucam3 with the propeller. serial comunication.
I also have a cmucam1. but that is not the same at all...
If i have questions about hooking it up and coding, can i contact you?

I have been trying to come up with a color vision setup myself and was looking at the CMUcam2 or 3. I also was looking at the SRV-1 camera which looks to be a much better setup (you can add things like WiFi to it) My problem is that I do not know anything about programming in C. I am currently looking into having my pc or laptop communicate to a regular wifi camera(Trendnet TV-ip110w) along with software for vision processing, roborealm. The price is·close, the Trendnet TV-IP 110W wifi camera I got for $59.00, roborealm software is on sale for something like $39.00.
The only problem·is that you need a·pc or laptop instead of onboard vision processing, but I think still cost effective...
