Small Problem with the Propeller Tool (Win32)

Howdy all,

My laptop hard disk blew up not so long ago, forcing me to retreat to my desktop to mess around with the Prop.
However, I Don't use M$ software unless I really have to, so since my pc doesnt have any serial ports yet, i switched to
using a usb-serial board.
This forced me to use Windows, as BST can't change its pin used to send the reset signal. (That I'm aware of)

So I installed Sun Virtualbox and installed XP into a VM. No problems there (In fact XP seems to run better in a VM lol)
The problem, or rather, the glitch I keep hitting, is after I have saved a Binary or EEPROM file via the Propeller Tool.
Once I have done so, I can only then save that type of file.
I have to close the tool and re-open it again so I can save Spin files.

Anyone else noticed this?
Its not a major issue, and its not stopping me doing anything, its just a slow down really.
At the minute, i'm using BST to compile the binary files and then jumping back to Virtualbox to carry on coding lol.

Windows [n.]
A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

    I know what you mean. But there is no reason to restart the PropTool. Simply type the full name, e.g. test.spin instead of just the base name. The type selector (which only offers *.binary or *.* at this point) is only used when you don't type an extension yourself. It's still kind of annoying though.

    Yes I can verify this as a glitch...

    Hopefully resolved in the next version.
