transistor arrays ideas

I have been flogging the internet for some soic uln2803s. The best I can find is 2804s which are apparently for higher voltage inputs. The problem is all this out of stock stuff. Arrow has some, but you have to have purchased previously from them or they won't sell them to you. Does any one know of some good options for arrays that work with 3.3v level logic? They have to be sm.

They seem to have quite a few types of chips. They are a bit slow on delivery though. They ship from various places including Thailand.
But with the UNL2803, you may not easily be able to locate surface mount. Why so? They dissipate quite a bit of heat, so a bigger DIP package is more stable. And, they are used as a protective buffer for microcontrollers. So they are better as a socketed replaceable device than surface mounted.

I am using capacative touch, so the pcb needs to sit directly against the plastic. I didn't have the company cnc that particular spot, so I would have to cut the dip backside flush, or something.
The TI website is not clear. They show lots, but when it gets to the nitty gritty, you can't get them.
I got one quote from someone that wanted $3.32 per chip. They are around $0.80 normally.

The result is that looking at a manufacturers listings are likely to never reflect the reality of what is available in small quantity.
