So here is a pondery i have.
If i have a 2 axis gyro and rotate it at 100% speed around an axis directly between the two sensing axises, will my output on both axis equal 50% or 70.7%.
I am assuming 50% due to conservation of energy, but i am having trouble vizualizing.
Thanks

The answer to your question is 70.7
x^2 + y^2 = 100^2 <-- 100 in your case since you are rotating it at 100% speed ... this value is your vector strength or composite force, so this value should be the amount of strength you are putting into the system.
...If we assume x = y (we are rotating the gyro exactly dead center between the two axis) we can simplify the formula to this,,,
2x^2 = 10000
x^2 = 5000
x = y = 70.7
