Could someone give me the open circuit voltage for the solar panel kit that Parallax is now selling?

Thanks,

(taking dictation from From Matt Gilliland, kit designer):

7.53 V nominal, under bright sunlight conditions. However, voltage drops dramatically under load conditions and at the theoretical MPP (Maximum Power Point) bottoms out at 6.14. (Your mileage may vary depending upon light conditions, driving habits, random birds perching or leaving "gifts" on the panel.)

Gotcha loud and clear, Steph. yeah.gif

I have several 6 volt, 4.5 Ah batteries that I use for projects and wanted to use a solar panel to charge them.

    Thanks,
