Hi All,
I am new to this forum.· I just started building two mini-sumos and have had a Boe Bot for several years.
I've built both the Lynxmotion Hex II and the Quadrapod.· For many years I fiddled with my robots
never quite fine tuning them and learning all the ins and outs of programming them.· My husband and
I are retired now and I find myself fascinated again by my bots, sometimes staying up till 3 AM before
I can drag myself to bed.· I bought the SumoBots only recently and love em already.· I am going to
join Seattle Robotics Society as it is close to where I live and if old ladies with grey hair are allowed
I would like to try my hand at the Sumo competition.· I am an electrician by trade and have a degree
in Computer Science, so my interests in robots is a given.· In actuality I have 20+ some robots of
various levels that I have collected over the years.· I even dusted off my M.I.T. Rug Warrior and
intend to install the sonar sensor I bought a long time ago·for him.· Fortunately I saved all my
documentation as a lot of it is no longer around.· And cables, boxes and boxes of cables! blah!
Hope to hear from some of you out there.· Carol H.
