New to Propescope, it's awesome!

I just used my Propscope for the first time this weekend, and I just wanted to say that it was really easy to get working and get results. I'm still a novice when it comes to oscilloscopes, so factor that in...
I was able to diagnose the SPI signals between a Propeller and an LISY300 gyro module and an H48C module.· I also was able to view the serial I/O (P30/31) going out to PST at 250000bps.
This may be all basic stuff, but I wasn't able to get results as easily·using my old·Leader scope.

I couldn't agree more! The Propscope is AWESOME. :)
I just wish my knowledge level of signals was a little higher.
I've got some projects on the back burner that are "scope" intensive.
But did I see somewhere that there was going to be an update to "Understand Signals" material for the Propscope?

Yes! Ken Gracey mentioned it on the Forum Re-Arranging thread...it was in a list of goodies they are working on at Parallax.

I need that book "Understanding Signals for the PropScope". I can fumble my way around (Propscope has made that easier and more productive), but I would like to understand things better.

I think you would probably get a good bit out of studying the current Understanding Signals book. It is set up for the old USB Scope, but someone like you could probably make the translation to the Propscope for lots of info. You can see it here - http://www.parallax.com/StoreSearchResults/tabid/768/List/0/SortField/4/ProductID/150/Default.aspx?txtSearch=Understanding+signals
And you can get the old version here for free - http://www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/prod/sic/Signals.pdf
It surely won't be as good with the Propscope as the new book - but it won't cost anything to play with it.
@OBC,
If I took that bet the free pdf would cost me $1!

I was entirely impressed with the examples he provided and I think you will like them too.
