Generate 5V from 3V3 on your prop board (for keyboard, etc) - module $4.58

While searching for something else I came across this little gem.

It will take 2.7V-4.2V input and generate 5V (up to 1A). It is meant for radio control planes, etc. However, it would be ideal to generate 5V from the prop 3V3 power supply if you do not have this already. This would remove the bad practice, of mine, when I risk the Prop to the 4.2V dropped by a diode to 3.5V (ish). The prop is happy enough to suffer this and the decay down to the (3.7V - 0.7V) 3V end volts, which is no problem for counting 1s and 0s but not so good if the output is an expected known voltage level as in VGA, Video or Audio.

Next Question is what's inside it ?

Wow.. nice find.

They have some nice prices on cheap handtools as well. 5 cheap shop knives .53 (same ones I buy from the dollar store for a buck a piece) as well as a knock-off rotary tool for $15. (Seeing as how my actual "Dremel" tool only lasted 6 months, this doesn't seem like a bad deal.)
