Hi everyone,
My group is using a BoE board for a project. The project is hard to explain, but I think we're missing the basic understanding of how to wire the thing. None of us have a deep understanding of it. I guess here's what we're trying to do:
It will will simulate a scaled down dynamic lighting system.
Using:
3 motion sensors (Infrared sensors, defaulted on, trigger when off)
6 leds (2 to be lights, the other 4 to represent %s of lux, binary up to 10)
Photo Sensor (to adjust the base lighting using external and ambient sources)
BoE
Stamp 2 Module
RFID Reader/Card (for activation and varification)
We need somewhere to start..we have other components available, but none of us have a circuit background, we're all computer programmers in a Electronics Architecture class.
Thanks

Look in the instructions for how to connect one LED. Connect that and get the software to turn it on.
Then maybe add a motion sensor to this and get that to turn on/off the light.
Add another LED.
Etc...
Here are more Parallax Downloads.
And here is the RFID card reader page with a bunch of links at the bottom right of the page.
