    These Distributed Aperature Systems allow the aircrews to "see through" cockpit structures, airfoils, etc..All the visual obstructions and blind spots that occur at high angles of attack are eliminated. I see where they are also using 3D audio to help with situational awareness. I FORBID erco and Whit from buying me the DAS system for my birthday!

    New Honda cars are now equipped with DAS.
    It's what we need when fighting traffic day or night. tongue.gif

    Seems like really cool technology. Although if they spend more on researching the Boeing YAL's capabilities, you won't even need the F35s to ever leave the ground. One 747 could take out a fleet of enemies without ever being detected by their radar.
