Blue LED static sensitive?

Just received a box of goodies from Digikey.

A few bags of LEDs, Red, Yellow, green, white all in what looks like
regular plastic bags. Nothing unusual so far from what I've seen in
the past.

The Blue ones, however, were in an anti-static bag with anti-static tape inside
another anti-static bag with more of the same tape.
"CAUTION electrostatic sensitive device ..."

Q: Are the blue ones actually more sensitive than other colors?

If yes, Why? Try to keep it simple please.

Roger

usually led's with tight voltage and current (30ma or less) tolerances are considered 'static sensitive'.·Alot of·blue leds fall into this category

    Thanks for the link, kf4ixm.

    Interesting pages.

I read way more info than I can possibly remember or understand.
