Propalot Stuff magazine (PS)

Welcome to Propalot Stuff PS, a published media designed to contribute and distribute information about creating easy-to-build Parallax Propeller computers with many chips connected together. The publication will follow and conclude some data you see posted on various Parallax Propeller threads and other sources.

Attached is the first issue (March 2010) of Propalot Stuff in PDF format. This new magazine journal is designed as a guide in the design and construction of multiple Parallax Propeller chip computers. Anyone may offer suggestions and contribute to various projects and posed questions. The March issue describes the first introductory project – a collective of 80 computers (cores/cogs) made from Propeller chips. As succeeding issues are created, the project will develop and evolve, leading to its completion.

Nice article. Maybe you can get it published once development advances a little further.

Short answers? Not available at this time since I think you deserve more information than you requested.

Thanks jazzed and microcontrolled. The goal is to make a project that others can build. There's a lot of very technical information floating around but to see some actual yet simple "how to" applications using ten or more connected props is a bit difficult to find. I hope "Propalot Stuff" will fill in this gap.

Seeing those 10 props lined up makes the wheels turn. I envision 10 cards with 10 P8X32A-M44 each, all sharing a common clock and eeprom per card. That's a theoretical 16,000 MIPS! Just imagine all the LED's you could blink.
