    Sweet! I've been waiting for a commercial mouse & USB robot arm (like those desktop nerf missle launchers) to appear on the market and you beat them to it! Great job, Dave!

    That's neat. The software side of robot arms always seems much harder than the hardware side. Which doesn't seem easy either.

    Hi Martin, sorry I didn't post the software, here it is - it did take me a little time to get it worked out and a few crashes of the arm

    Thanks for posting the software. I'm still in the world of the Basic Stamp, but this will give me a chance to read some Spin.

    Those Dynamixel servos are strong and more than a bit pricey, n'est-ce pas? Any idea what it would cost to replicate that arm, Dave? I just got my OWI Edge arm USB controller, but it "just ain't·the same as·yours". lol.gif Thanks.

    erco, it is built from the bioloid beginner kit w/ power supply (for the servos)·which is $349.00, and the gripper w/servo was 99.00, demoboard,ltc1298,flexiforce sensor, 4 resistors and a cap.

    edit heres the schemtic if anyones interested and erco let us know how it turns out with owi arm.
