Using images from SketchUp for commercial purposes

I've looked at the SketchUp license and it looks like it is okay to use images created in SketchUp for commercial purposes, even if you use the free version. I've modeled a few projects using SketchUp and I might want to use those images in a How-To or other documentation, I just don't want to get a scolding from Google.

Do you think there would be any problem in doing so?

As long as the drawing itself doesn't include any of their copyrighted material, why would they care -- or, for that matter, even know -- that it was done with SketchUp?

I don't know (nor care much) what the license terms are, but the potential reason to care would be if the license is like the free version of Eagle.· Personal use = OK, Commercal or "for profit" use != OK.

That's what I was trying to figure out, since they do have a commercial version of the product...

Well now, that settles it as far as I'm concerned. Thanks Matt!

    Rich,
We had the commecial product. The only reason we got it was to have the ability to import and export to a variety of CAD platforms. That's the only difference, except you also get the Layout software.
All final renderings are the property of the creator, just like AutoCAD, 3DS, Maya, etc.
